We bought the SUV for luggage capacity mostly, in addition to the luxury ride. It ran good for a long, but around 135k miles started a clanking noise underneath. We thought it was loose exhaust or something. But soon realized it was at a certain speed and rpm. Which meant a certain gear. Cadillac dealership confirmed it. So had it replaced. Since then, all good again. The main thing I feel it should have had better, is the backing camera. It's just bad. Especially at certain sun angles. My $100 dash cam (with a second rear camera) has better video quality. Also want to mention, the mag ride is just okay. I think it may have improved in the newer models, but this earlier implementation is average. Highway travel is good, but on bumpy gravel road, it's brutal. Would I buy another Escalade. For sure! This is already my second. Owned a 2005 ESV before. Totaled it in 2011.…
